#3: Venezuela is Spanish-speaking and predominantly Catholic, so it is part of Western Civilization. South Africa is predominantly Christian. Japan, on the other hand, has its own civilization and the third largest economy in the world.

Japan is not unique, they westernized a long time ago. They went through a colonial period where Europeans and Americans took advantage of their inferior weaponry. The only way to prevent that happening again was to trade their wooden ships for iron and their swords and armor for modern weapons so they could face them as equals.

They had in essence a system of castes. This is the first step in instituting communism. Of course the strongman who arises when 'communism' is tried accretes every good thing to himself and his henchmen. Then he sets each man as a spy against his neighbor so that no one is able to gain enough power to unseat him. If this sounds familiar it should. Barack 0bamba is doing exactly that here. He will not go in 2017!

That is my greatest fear - Obama will not step down in 2017. It does not appear that we have any leaders strong enough to mount force him to do anything. He will have no problem coming up with an excuse to remain in power.

don't know where that 'mount' came from

I can't stand Obama but I cannot imagine him attempting to stay in office.
