I hope your family gets savaged and then goes broke and you find that no one cares a whit about your situation or even existence. You are all that is vile in the media - and it's all because of your school-girl jealousy over someone who is much prettier and accomplished that you will ever be. It seems you have never matured. Now go play in the traffic and make a lot of people real happy.

and the idiot Sotomayor don't understand is that the more that steps are taken that allow groups that perceive they are being discriminated against to file discrimination lawsuits, the more that employers (down at the level of the actual hiring manager) immediately shy away from hiring these groups of workers in the first place. And that's the shame - and the crime. Minorities who are every bit as qualified for a position get that invisible check mark against them because of the employers fear that they will be more prone to filing a baseless discrimination lawsuit some time down the line. And THIS action is actually prevalent.

This coming from the man that condemned Ann Coulter as being too mean. Jonah has never done anything other than write articles to try to sell more of his books. These writers that have the power of the pulpit and do nothing to organize for their alleged causes sicken me. I think that their allegiances end at their pocketbooks.

- they get the vote of the blacks who prefer to stay on the plantation and be beholden to Massah Gov't
- they get the vote of 100% of the non-gay voters who think and/or act like they are gay (a large percentage of the "gay" population are not gay at all (ask any true gay person) - they just like the life style and are just poseurs)
- they get most of the vote from the voters in the teacher's union and several other unions
- they get the vote of the voters who pay no income tax, which at last count, was over 50% (this has been the dem target for some time and was foreseen by the Founding Fathers as a problem when we came...

When the gov't controls healthcare, you'd better believe that there are going to be quotas for the doctors. It won't be the best and brightest treating you and operating on you - it will be ones that filled the quota. Give everyone who wants gov't ran healthcare access to it - just leave those of us who don't out of it. We need to start thinning out the idiots from society and this looks to be a great way to do it.

Gawd, there is nothing as insufferable as people who don't know squat about music and its evolution acting like they KNOW music just because they happen to like mindless pablum, with catchy hooks and nonsensical words (usually written by someone else) - especially while incorporating heavily choreographed professional dancers into their lip-syncing videos. Oh, and when, pray tell, did "rock" become a subset of "pop"? And the poster whose name says it all - coldplaylover - I feel sorry for you that you have to consider that minimal talent list of people, "superstars". You have truly led a sheltered and inexperienced life and in several years will probably look back at such comments and be embarrassed.
