"God" Dropped From Inaugural Prayer

For liberals, "State" has always replaced God.

That is the crux of the matter. Liberals believe that we, as a society, have no further need of God. The state is god. As such, the state determines good and evil, right and wrong, justice and injustice. With no moral absolutes, the state is free to interpret what used to be moral absolutes in any manner it wishes. Today it's the moral foundations we have traditionally believed came from God. Tomorrow, maybe even later this afternoon, laws will become subject to interpretation. Equality before the law will also be subject to the whims of the state. Then, we cease to be America.

Right on Mr. Right! When God (goodness) who has blessed this country since it's inception is removed from the sphere of public life, it is not the "elites" who will fill the void with their absolutes but evil itself will continue to advance. May God help the U.S.A. as we continue to head down that road of selfishness and self destruction.

This is what happens when everything becomes relative, a varying shade of grey.

John Quincy Adams: "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."

Ben Franklin: "Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."

William Penn: "If man is not governed by God, he will be ruled by tyrants."

Does a prayer count if you purposely drop "God" out of a prayer? Yesterday during President Obama's unofficial inauguration ceremony, God was skipped over during a prayer given at the event.

Considering it was Democrats who dropped God from their platform and then booed loudly during the DNC convention when it was put back in, this isn't surprising however, we're in a world of trouble if you can't even say "God" during a prayer to none other than God.
