Seawolf: Shub, I had a plan to toatally privatize SS over a 20 year time frame..Tom Sowell was kind enough to comment and he said it would work perfectly, but was "too ambitious for the politicians". My son aced his Masters degree on a much fleshed out version.. I sent it to a ton of congress people, had these clowns listened, we'd BE there now..they are all corrupt or cowards and the kids coming up are screwed by this ponzi scheme. Our politicians are weak and cowardly. We face doom and they diddle around. Boehner is a prime example. (Sorry I didn't see this when you posted it, but I run a small investment fund and things are popping this morning)

On May 23, President Barack Obama told more than 1,000 jubilant, uniform-prepped-and-polished graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy that the world has a "new feeling about America." He declared: "I see it everywhere I go, from London and Prague to Tokyo and Seoul to Rio and Jakarta. There's a new confidence in our leadership." If only it were true.

Obama boasted, "We can say with confidence and pride: The United States is stronger, safer and more respected in the world."

"Stronger, safer and more respected"?

"Stronger," as in Obama's plan to initiate more than $500 billion...
