I wish some of you writers had taken a little science in school so you wouldn't be so stupid. While it may appear Akins was talking through his hat, there is actually science to support the fact there is less frequency of pregnancy in rape. Dr. Wilke wrote about it years ago. In any event, the Dems overstate rape statistics to justify murdering 1.5. million babies a year. The number of rape pregnancies is about 200 a year. So the left is baffling you all with BS to hide the fact they are more blood thirsty than Hitler.

Left-libs never have time for actual science. It would interfere with their indoctrination in their insert-victim-group-here studies.

But one could hope for better from conservatives.

RE: Number of pregnancies from rape.
My response:
There were approximately 3,500 pregnancies per year from rape in 2004 to 2005, according to RAINN; see my reference above.

Does that statistical estimate weed out the false rape claims from the legitimate rapes before deriving the figure?

You are so right.. and if the left had their way they would try to make every abortion seem like it is a hard case.. poverty, rape etc. But we all know the truth.

I don't understand why the left wants to kill black babies who are potential voters for the Dems.

You forgot to mention what truth it is that we all know.

Todd Akin's idiocy appears to be infectious.

The evil genius of the Missouri congressman's comments is that they lend themselves to such broad interpretations -- and misinterpretations.

By now his remarks are familiar, but just in case ...

Akin told a local TV interviewer: "First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy from rape] is really rare." He continued: "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

My own take is that there's a dual-core of asininity here. First, Akin's formulation makes it sound...
