Absolutely incorrect. No physician prescribes "first round (antibiotics) as a matter of course. The training in evaluation and diagnosis that physicians have makes the difference. Pharmacists are fine professionals who do practice Pharmacy well. But they practice Pharmacy, not Medicine.

Are you a chiropractor? Or perhaps an Obamabot troll?
Was that "Father of the Year" or "Daddy of the Year'?

One who is much younger and has more time to shred the constitution.
. . . I hit the button for the Christmas Music station just in time to hear the wonderfully familiar opening notes of Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" as performed by the Boston Pops under the baton of the legendary Arrthur Fiedler. Then there's the Bingle and "White Christmas." Nat King Cole's "Christmas Song. Alvin and the Chipmunks "Christmastime." And even Elmo and Patsy's "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer." Such great memories. Such great music. Thank you for this column Dr. K. And to Bob Hope and all the others, thanks for the memories.
Ah, Doctor Kengor, I share those fond memories. There has never been better television than an Andy Williams Christmas special. Some years ago, while hearing "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" on radio, I remarked to my brother that I never thought about Mr. Williams until November and thought about him constantly until January. But so much other music from those who have gone to The Better Place makes my Christmas complete. Not long ago, I was driving in my car listening to a regular music station when a very tiresome song sung by an English guy who names his children after fruit came on . . .

How to Repeal ObamaCare in January

I was under the impression that Obamacare was pushed through by the process of reconciliation, making it a spending bill as opposed to standard regulation. Further, the SCOTUS's decision that the "individual mandate" is, in reality, a tax certainly affirms that this is budget/spending legislation. Therefore, a repeal bill would be exempt from filibuster and would only require a simple majority. If the GOP wins the WH, they would only need to have 50 seats in the Senate, as Ryan would then cast the deciding vote to end Obamacare and save America.
Great column, Mr. Hawkins. One of your best ever.
