Our Moral Dilemma

Thou shalt not steal... I don't remember reading any exceptions to that. Of course this is why oppressive regressive liberals HATE anyone who worships God over the state and who understands that there are absolute rights and absolute wrongs. Whether the state or an individual steals or violates the property or person of another makes no difference. It is morally wrong. "If an American says that he'll pay his share of those constitutionally mandated functions of the federal government but refuses to give up his earnings to be used for handouts to the Bank of America, Citibank, Archer Daniels Midland, farmers, dairymen, college students and poor people, should some kind of force be initiated against him?" I would say absolutely...

Obama's Speech Tonight

Excellent article. If even one Senator or Representative would make this speech it would give me hope.

The radical left do not want a solution. They want power. Enemies of our constitutional republic have replaced that old fashioned motto of "in God we trust" with a new motto, "feed the problem, starve the solution," a more suitable motto when your goal is to increase the power and scope of Big Brother.

"The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One...

Felines, Nothing More than Felines

The slaughter of the innocent and particularly partial birth abortion is immoral, compared to which "water boarding" is a spa treatment. Part of the problem in confronting this cruel murder of the most innocent is that the subject is so brutal and heart rendering that most people cannot face it, and so allow free reign to death worshipers who gleeful continue on.

Thank you for making me cry.

Glenn Beck Has Brass Gonads

"It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Obama --explaining his troubles winning over some working-class voters

There is nothing like politicians scaring the heck out of folks to make em cling ever more tightly to their guns and Bibles.

Thanks for the funny way you put things. I needed a laugh. To be sure Glenn Beck does have brass gonads, yes he does:)

You have given me an idea for a T-shirt.

Liberty First, Security Second

Rick I agree that it is very important to understand the history of our nation and the people who risked so much to come here. I think the Mayflower Compact is illuminating.

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure if we have removed their only firm basis: a conviction in the minds of men that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.” Thomas Jefferson
"As long as he's surrounded by career flacks who demonize dissent to distract from the Beltway stench, the White House will remain an all-whine zone." Love it!

Thanks for another great article.

God and Guns, Part I

There is nothing like a bunch of "domestic terrorists" on capital hill threatening to destroy our Constitutional and God given rights in their unrelenting lust for power that makes us cling tighter to our guns and religion. If there is any doubt in anyones' mind what happens when a population is disarmed, take a look at the genocide chart at http://www.jpfo.org/filegen-a-m/deathgc.htm#chart

The ability to protect one's life and the lives of their family is God given and we do not need permission from the state.

"The underlying argument for gun control seems to be that the availability of weapons causes crime. But that is not the Biblical position. Genesis 4 records the first murder when Cain killed Abel. God’s response...

Town Halls on Race

"The road to post racial America will not pass through emotional rap sessions but through the veneration of the still revolutionary idea that all men are created by God with an equal right to life, liberty and private property regardless of race."

You said it all.

Race is used as a tool of division and manipulation. What is important are the values and principles of a person. Skin color is immaterial.

My genealogy includes Choctaw, scotch - irish, a little bit german and english, with I have been told perhaps a bit of african. So who am I? I am a Christian American with an equal right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

It is past time for people to get past this issue of distraction and work...
