Typo in first sentence - "he would be attackED for being extreme".
What I find is truly hilarious, the catch-22 for Ron Paul, is that if he HAD said we should simply "abolish Social Security and Medicare today"--as Ann implies he must say--he would be attacking for being extreme, uncaring and UNREALISTIC. So basically, the Neoconservative/Big government Repub concern is another straw man (if you're ignorant like Ann, and can't spend even 5 minutes researching feasible private solutions to the "problems" she thinks she has thought of.) This is just more of the tired fear mongering we've seen before from Obama and any other unimaginative big government apologist who can't be bothered to even consider non-government solutions. Not feasible. Going back to the old ways, and abandoning DIVISION OF LABOR (Google it) would do more to crush the economy than the worst Obamatax. It's basic economics - if you're truly willing to go back to "the old ways" with no kitchen appliances, no air conditioning, no hot water, and lots of hard labor on farms with luxuries reserved for the wealthy, go for it. By reducing our productivity so much, we ain't gonna have time for all this extra stuff. Without "the new ways" of capitalism and mass production, we'd all still be surfs. That's why the earliest supporters of socialism were the nobility - read some Tom Dilorenzo history books or some other stuff at mises.org.

No thanks? You'd rather have an animal die so your fat rear can get a burger, than have some type of automated meat farm producing the best filet minion (best anything) at 1000% the efficiency and a fraction of the cost (after the industry matures)? Gross? GET OVER IT.
