If FLMC is going to go into comparing gun control to automobile licensing. I'd have to compare assault rifle bans with a Federal Ban on motorcycles and Sports Cars.

There already are all kinds of cars you cannot drive on the road, the regulations would make your head spin! The really fun stuff is largely confined to the track...

Yet the Government still provides access to those cars for the public through their regulatory process. Not out right ban them from ownership.

once again the right to drive is not secured in the Constitution FLMC

AmyDB, you have it all backwards. the constitution limits what the Fed's can do. Just because it isn't listed doesn't mean it isn't protected! The real question is, under what authority could the Fed's prohibit the right to drive? Remember that about 99% of the laws on the books are garbage, stupid and unconstitutional.

Earlier this week, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo rushed to sign sweeping and extremely restrictive gun control legislation into law. Negotiations were made behind closed doors in the middle of the night, debate was rushed, public input was ignored and the votes were taken. The legislation that was passed only allows New York residents to carry seven bullets in a maximum ten round magazine at a time and requires gun registration. The problem? Cuomo didn't read the bill and failed to notice legislators forgot to exempt law enforcement.

A troubling oversight has been found within New York...
