One truth will always remain self evident. The progressive agenda is completely incompatible with our Constitution. It is their impediment to so called Utopian measures of "Progress". They cannot implement their beloved gun control laws while we have the 2nd Amendment. They cannot confiscate wealth for redistribution while we have the 5th Amendment. They cannot detain those who insult them with reason or ban Religious practices and sermons (hate speech they call it) while we have the 1st Amendment. They cannot buy citizenship for illegal voters while we have the 14th Amendment. There's not enough thread space here to reveal all of their vile goals.

Very well put, Shieldwolf; however, the regressives agenda has been slowly chipping away at our rights, protections, and freedoms, even though we have a Constitution that is supposed to stop that. Republicans are often willing accomplices to the erosion.

Good point psydoc. I have been following many of the erosion on Constitutional liberties this administration has successfully been gaining ground on.

Indefinite Detention laws, Kill Lists, GM private company & gun confiscations, unrepresented EPA taxes and levies, Forced Commerce laws, Patriot Act renewals, Executive usurpation of Naturalization laws.

These are 2nd, 4th, 5th and 14th Amendment violations. In the end, we may have to rely on the Second Amendment.

I pray we don't Shieldwolf; but, you are correct. I think that is the reason for the latest, very aggressive, push to register gun owners.

Ben Shapiro is a syndicated columnist, author and the Editor-at-Large of His most recent book, Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America, was a New York Times bestseller and praised by Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Sean Hannity, among others. At CPAC on Friday afternoon, I had the opportunity to sit down with Ben for a few minutes to discuss his new book, and learn more about his relationship with Andrew Breitbart -- a man he described as both a “happy warrior” and “deeply loyal.”
