Why Jews Vote Democratic – Redux

Carol, Jews were active members of the communist party because they were sold a bill of goods. After being forced out of every villiage to see it burned to the ground, the illusion of communism attracted the Jews because they were promised to be equal as anyone else. They thought it meant safety and stability. My family in Russia escaped with their lives soon after because they realized they weren't safe and their kind was murdered by the millions. I don't have to read Horowitz's book...I can speak to my family and their friends who lived it. You are the one who is showing your bigotry by the response you spew. American Jews have been sold another bill of goods that republicans are all Jew haters. I know this is not true, however as I...

No horatio, repubs by and large are not bigots, but if you post an article like this, it brings out the nuts. Don't give me a lecture about the tolerance of the left. My militant leftist family would wage war against anyone who was a racist, and yet they were the first ones to call the police if they found a black guy walking through the neighborhood. My uncle was a homosexual and they couldn't stand the sight of him. To liberals, everyone is wonderful who is a minority, as long as they don't trespass near them.

As a Jew who has voted republican and always will, if I were trying to convince my liberal Jewish family that the republican party was not filled with bigots and Jew haters, all they would need to do is read some of the comments on this thread--and they would continue to vote democrat. There are idiots in every bunch, as we all can see, but democratic voting Jews will see a few racist lunatics here and have their fears confirmed.

I live in Crook County, Illinois--the lair of the Chicago Machine. We got our property taxes a week ago and to my shock, 68.1% of those taxes go to public schools. We were told our property taxes would go down because our values decreased, however, most people's taxes doubled...tax laws changed and exemptions changed....for the kids.... Makes you want to punch something.
With friends like Reverand Wright, Khalidi, Al-Mansour, Odinga and Farrakhan, was this any surprise?

Feminists Psychoanalyze Themselves Again

Where in the heck did I talk about abortion? Are we so reflexive on key-words that if I use the word Choice, to you it means abortion?

My choices were to work, to live independently, to own my own property, and I'm happy. Abortion is something I don't care for, nor do I want my tax dollars to pay for anyone else's if they chose to be irresponsbile.

Whatever my mother and millions and billions of women did in the past more than likely was hindered because they didn't have choices like I do today. In fact, my mother when she was a young woman dating my dad, was supposed to be on the Olympics for the swim team. My dad told her, it's the Olympics or him. She chose him. Why couldn't she have done both? Why couldn't he have...

I consider myself a conservative female, and even though there are ridiculous radicals in the feminist movement, like any other group has, without the origins of feminism, I would not be given free will to chose my lifestyle.

I work, I own my property, I am self reliant, I am not married and I have no children, all by my own choice and without being harrassed, pressured or denied. I appreciate that.

Yes, the feminist movement of today and its key players are bastardizing and manipulating values and laws to suit an agenda, but it doesn't represent everyone.

Happiness is relative. I know miserable single childless women and I know miserable married with children women, and in turn I know very happy ones of both...

Lilly, how dare you take my personal experience that I endured and twist it to refine your Obamacare nonsense?

My gyne has a private practice and she was, dare I say….on medical leave because SHE just gave BIRTH to her OWN CHILD! Yes, she had an emergency number that recommended an alternative doctor, however, it was a male doctor and I prefer not to have a male gyne for various reasons.

Wow, imagine! Freedom of Choice without Obamacare!

I was allowed the Freedom of Choice to take my business elsewhere.

Gee, can’t get a mammogram in less than 6 or 7 months you say, Lilly? I can literally walk into any hospital and ask for one, which I have and I’ve done it for the past 3 years. I also live in Cook...
