Good for her and keep talking about it. I believe we can change where we are today and become what we want to be from now on. Sounds like that is what she did, thereby regaining her self respect. Women need to know they CAN be cherished and not used and thrown away. To the poster who thinks it may be a sexual problem - bull. You have bought into the lie that we cannot control ourselves and do the right thing. Hope you know real love someday.

Thirty-something writer Kristin Walker has done a very brave thing (at least, in our culture): She has admitted she is abstaining from sex until she is married.  She's normal, she's in a relationship -- but she has simply decided to live in accordance with her morals.  And she makes extremely good points:
