I am not disputing that blacks benefit from the politics of race. I am arguing that what Van Jones is saying is TRUE.

People under 45 tend to understand this better than those over 45 - generally speaking.

Mr. Jones has a culturally different style. What seems like 'in your face' is actually 'active listening' in the 'white world'. I have learned to shift my 'cultural style' depending on my audience. However, I am looking forward to a time in the USA when ALL CULTURES will be given the same level of respect NOT EQUAL but the same. People should not be treated equally because we each function differently but they should always be treated THE SAME.
