So tell me why we subsidize fossil fuel industries?
And when the Dow tanks and you lose a good portion of your capital, the welfare system would become overwhelmed.
So does this mean you support the individual mandate?
A new study from Congress’ Joint Economic Committee (JEC) debunks the prevailing conservative notion that Unemployment Insurance (UI) dissuades people from looking for a job. Federal unemployment insurance requires recipients to actively look for new work, and also gives them more flexibility to do. Someone with no job and no UI benefits will likely have to focus first on paying bills on a day-to-day basis before finding a job for the long-term.

I find it hard to comprehend that a group of people who believe in a God can be so disrespectful of the planet he is supposed to have created. How you can, in all good faith, blather on about your religiosity, while at the same time methodically dismantle, pollute and exploit the very foundation of your existence for short term profits and personal greed. If you believe in God and expect to find yourself at the pearly gates someday then I suggest you reflect on the choices you make in life, in regards to your stewardship of his planet and the respect you extend to all other lifeforms.

Maybe you don't get out much, the science has been confirmed. Polar sea ice is retreating, glaciers are melting and record weather events are happening more frequently. Just like predicted. Subsidies to oil and gas amount to billions of dollars every year and our military spending, to protect our energy interests in the Middle East, amounts to trillions.
