The ideas that we shouldn't concern ourselves with international opinion and that Keynesian economics hasn't been proven to be the best and most effective option, up to this point, are short-sighted at best. The thought that we shouldn't help each other out, domestically or abroad, and that we should only act in our own self-interest is an idea borne of fear, not solid reasoning. The fact is that humans are social, depending on one another to achieve mutual goals. We all experience this daily, and to disregard the needs of some isn't noble, just as it isn't even wise.

How ironic is it to see a conservative (not exactly known for their critical thinking or higher reasoning capabilities are they?) defend conservatives by calling them logical and by calling liberals emotional? Considering the point of the argument, which seems to be to say that conservatives are better than liberals, it's certainly a little funny that the author goes to *SUCH GREAT LENGTH* to write such a defensive article filled with platitudes and fallacies, not to mention punctuation errors aplenty. To take what I would consider to be the most egregious case of cynical misinformation, the incarceration of blacks can be, just for one example, attributed just as easily to deregulation and the growth of the law enforcement and jailing ind
