Listening to a Liar: Part II

Sharon161 Wrote: Sep 10, 2009 4:10 PM
Millions of Americans know this guy is a charlatan and a bold-face liar. Yet the MSM remains silent. Is it that they aren't smart enough to connect the dots and to recognize a Snake Oil Salesman when they see and hear one? Or are they just trying to cover up their mistakes from last fall when they blantantly promoted this guy for president?

5 Messages for 'Elite' Republicans

I agree with all five points. The mistake Republicans are making is to show the RNC their money. The RNC and the party have lost my confidence in their direction; they've lost their conservative values, and they've certainly lost all leadership cability. Why would I donate to a valueless, leaderless, partly-conservative-when-they-feel-like-it party!

Until they shape up, not one Red cent!
Our daughter has spent 13 agonizing weeks waiting to be get the go ahead to have surgery for a major problem. Her husband is deployed and they have Tricare insurance (military insurance). On the insurance card it reads: 'The best insurance in the world.'

'The best insurance in the world' has bounced her back and forth from doctors to 'Insurance Advocates' and then back and forth again for 12 weeks like a ping pong ball. When she finally called her Congressman (D- Oregon) she was told that she should have called weeks ago. They have a full staff that deals with non-response problems from Tricare.

So, we have 3,000,000 Americans on government Tricare. Multiply that by 100 and you wonder how many more staffers the...
If Obama is afraid of Victory, what do we tell our American families that their loved ones are there for, are dying for? If they are dying for merely 'sacrifice' and not victory, to whom or what are they paying the ultimate price or sacrifice for? If we are there because of the attacks on our country on 9/11, then why would we consider atonement and sacrifice without considering Victory? How do you train a soldier and convince his or her family to make the ultimate sacrifice when we don't even understand what our mission is or why we are sacrificing our best, brightest, most beloved patriots?

Come on Obama. Stand up and own this war and show these brave men and women and their families how to come home safely with honor but...
When Obama's administration nationalizes health care, what will the cost be in terms of bureaucracy? How many bureaucrats will it take to manage medicine for 300 million Americans and how much will that cost? Will they assign one medicine bureaucrat for every 100 Americans, like they assign case workers to foster children? What will it cost to set up the new bureaucratic infrastructure - office buildings, furniture, computer networks, phones, automobiles, etc? Will the socialized medicine center be like the post offices, at least one office in every city? Or will it be like trying to call social security to get a question answered or to make an appeal? What happens to all of those hundreds of thousands of people working in the...

Race Baiter in Chief

Well I am ashamed of this president. Why you might ask?

He has denigrated our military by refusing to define victory. The Harvard-educated professor doesn't even know that Emporer Hirohito did not sign the peace accord to end the war with Japan.

He calls a police officer 'Stupid' when the officer was nominated by a former Black offier to train officers about how not to profile.

He has been caught in countless lies about health care, the budget, the bailout, the management of General Motors, the direction of his cabinet, and on and on and on and on.

Yep, I've lived through lot of presidents - starting with FDR, and some of them were not really competent, some were slightly corrupt, some were too far out...

Medical Care Confusion

Sharon161 Wrote: Jul 21, 2009 8:55 PM

Our son-in-law is deployed and our daughter started having severe neck pain in early June. After numerous trips to her family physician and a chiropractor, they both recommended that she see an orthopedic surgeon. The surgeon agreed to see her but said that he could not treat her without an MRI of her neck. Their military (government) insurance - Tricare - says on the insurance card: "The best insurnance in the world."

But the government insurance denied an MRI, more than once. Our daughter went on pain patches and went for PT but the extreme pain persisted for 52 days. The pain medication was so great that her son - our grandson, who is autistic, had to stay with relatives temporarily. People from their church took...

A No-Fly List? Count Me In

Please read this column by Jonah Goldberg and you will understand why my spouse and I no longer fly. It explains many of the reasons - not including the numerous ala carte chareges - why we choose to drive from WIsconsin to see family in Oregon, Massachusetts, Texas, and other far reaches. We're having a grand time driving and will never set foot on an airplane again.
