Hey Kitty, Ask somebody who lives in Poland how well socialized medicine works for them when the government funding runs out before the end of they year.
Good idea, Beowulfe, but you know the Sky Molloy will expect you to pay for the calculator and donate it to the greater good of the poor, downtrodden welfare-sucking masses.
Molloy, You really are as stupid as everyone else here (except for Sky) thinks you are!
Go CAROL! Go CAROL! (yay)
Agreed on all points. a little digression here.... GE (what a fabulous company to use as an example) is one of the biggest perpetrators of sending American jobs offshore. Obummer just loves Immelt.
Still Standing, I really do hope you are right. At least insofar that SOMEBODY needs to kick him out on his sorry @ss.
Oh c'mon now... As arrogant as Obummer is, do you REALLY think he's going to concede? Frankly, I'd love to see him humiliated and, better yet prosecuted for the crimes he's committed in bringing about the destruction of our economy.
@Redneck.... And a possible solution to reverse this abysmal state of things is to force manufacturing to return to America by enforcing high trade tariffs on imports. The income from this alone could allow for the decrease in regs and taxes on those companies that still survive in this country. It really makes you wonder what idiotic boob get the logic so messed up on this.... Oh wait.... It's a dumb-o-rat thing...

...continued.... As someone who "works for the man", I am vehemently opposed to anyone pilfering my hard-earned salary. I am not the uber-rich, but I do very well to provide for my family. I live to my means as most Americans do. I do not approve of redistributing anyone's wealth no matter how great or small it is. If you earned it, you should dispose of it as you choose, not as Obummer dictates. The poor, government-sucking people with their hands out are not willing to work for their money. They need to start earning their keep, not robbing the rest of us of what we've worked for.

Once upon a time, the United States of America was considered the Land of Opportunity, where a person was able to choose his destiny based upon his inherent personal capabilities (intellect, work skills, other talents) and his desire to succeed. Focus here on the word "choice". The rich have typically chosen to educate themselves well. They have chosen to put in the time and effort to find a means by which to amass that wealth. In other words, they have EARNED their wealth. In the process, the uber-rich have been the primary source of job creation. They need people to generate greater wealth, which they share with their employees in the form of a paycheck. (This would be what we middle class folks call "working for the man".)
