Point taken, the intensity of hatred is magnified in many factions since that dismal period of our national history.

"the Black Panthers did not hate whites. They did not seek armed revolution (although some of their most high-profile leaders were drug dealers and murderers)." What??!! Sorry Ann, my Dad was a college professor in the Sixties, a track coach and absolutely not racist, yet when the social censure committee he chaired voted to expel a violent black student we got to enjoy several weeks of terror as they threatened to fire bomb our house and kill my Dad. All this against a man who recruited fine minority athletes, who stood up to restaurant owners who refused to serve black members of the team and who fought for equal rights. Many hated whites solely for the color of our skin.
There have been a series of knife, cleaver, etc attacks of children in Chinese schools over the past several years. One of their proposed solutions is to arm the janitorial staff with pitchforks. Hey yeah, with pitchforks we could solve the whole problem- far more menacing than someone with an assault chair or gun that that could restrict the free movements of a mass murderer. A well regulated militia being necessary for a free people, congress shall make no law restricting the right of the people to keep and bear pitchforks!

Business? Real establishment? Only wants cheap labor and couldn't care less? Ann, get out of DC and NYC for a couple years and join the rest of us in reality. And stop pouting about your great candidate losing, 3 million Republicans stayed home because they couldn't stomach voting for democrat lite- advocating for Romneycare and vowing to repeal Obamacare didn't smell right to millions.

Good grief, how did this come up twice? And Chris, do not give up on your physical therapy after the medical profession tells you that's all they can do. I had a bad accident years ago and it looked like I was going to be handicapped for life, but I kept on working at it and recovered far more than if I would have just accepted my prognosis (from 40% of normal to 95% of normal). I don't know about your injuries, but don't give up on continuing to heal. Strengthen what you can adapt what you must. Laugh every day.

Chris, I live in inflated Colorado and it isn't fortunate. I've been here all my life, when you bought a house for $17,000 and earned $7/hr. Now, because everyone wants to live in beautiful Colorado it costs $200,000 for a similar home, everything costs more and the income my wife and I earn doesn't make us any more than middle class. Since our careers are centered here, we can't pull up stakes and move somewhere else. While we have what seems to be a high income, we do not have a higher standard of living. It's a problem with the one size fits all mentality of Washington, DC and how it has permeated our society. All things are not "equal".

Congratulations on the RADIO SHOW!!! I only hope I can hear it from the very beginning, and I hope it doesn't prevent you from writing. Godspeed sir.
How about the GOP advances Obama's promise of transparency and demand that all negotiations and discussions be done in public, no behind closed doors activity at all. This is serious, the public deserves to know just exactly how this sausage is being made. Just kidding the GOP doesn't have a spine, ha ha ha ha ha! They need to just duct tape a mop handle to their backs so Obama can finish mopping up with them. Ha ha ha ha ha.
