Slavery was not an American institution, it was a global institution and our country sacrificed a generation of our men to rid us of that global institution within our borders. If by Genocide you mean 600,000 of mostly white young men then you understand the sacrifice it took to rid our nation of that horrible institution of slavery.

Obama is a jobs killer. If he cares about the poor why are 1 in 7 people on food stamps? Why is the unemployment rate hovering at 9%, when he could have left the XL Pipeline through creating 20,000 jobs and billions of dollars of foreign investment? Why does he want federal mandates on Health care that force insurance providers to jack up the cost of providing insurance? Obama knows that his power is greater when individuals are weak and dependent on the Federal Government. If unemployment was down, few people were on food stamps, gas prices were cheap, and the economy was rolling.....then his voter base would amount to nothing. He wants the US to be weak so his political voter base is strong. Our weakness is his strength.

This is the sort of crud that gave monsters in the past licence to liquidate in the name of progress.
Point understood by most I think. But the founders understood that without this "fear of God" as the foundation of our understanding of inalienable rights, then tyranny would be inevitable in order to control the ensuing chaos. There must be a "common" understanding of inalienable rights. Without God or the influence of God's natural laws, we are destined to be sheep following only the "fear of Government". I would recommend you take the Hillsdale College Constituition 101 online course. It is free and it provides an excellent analysis of the sphere's of influence upon which our forefathers saw the world and upon which the constitutional framework was built.
