Now for Planned Parenthood!
A little glimpse of hope in our torked world.
Well....All I can say is, no matter what happens to Obamacare, if it is a failure, our leftist friends will only see it as an opportunity to expand to a single payer system. All the while blaming conservatives on the failure of Obamacare. The only common denominator for all liberal ideas is to expand the government. Whatever the ailment....always expand the government.

Jonah....You are on to something here. I have commented on Huff Post a few times about this subject and usually get pretty positive responses back from "popular" Huff Post bloggers. It appeals to progressives appreciation of weirdness in a good way. Like "Keep Austin Weird".

Nice article Jonah. This is the point that I have been trying to make to those around me. I probably oversimplified - My point has always been Bush was overly progressive on domestic issues, and when the financial "fire" broke out and Obama became POTUS, he simply made it worse or prolonged it's effects by throwing gasoline on it.
It is funny and sad because it is true. So many victims. Where did they first get this Kool-Aid?

It is his actions. They are self evident. There is an overwhelming body of evidence that the modern liberals see financial inequality as a huge evil. Is that true or not? Obama has even slipped up a couple of times unlike his usually careful word choices. He finds it funny that some people think that they are successful on their own. He chides "you did not get their alone, somebody helped you." What is he implying? Original King - You seem like a very reasonable person. Is the following not self evident: If I were a democrat my game plan to keep as many votes as possible would be to get as many people dependent on the government as possible - Much like California.

If you want to know who Obama is, you only need to look at what he has done. Those are Obama's words. What has he done? Equality - More people are on Welfare now than ever before. Great more and more people are equally dependent on the government for a paycheck and food. Corporate tax rates are higher than any other industrialized nation. That stifles job-growth - putting more people on Welfare. And as far as the Democratic party is concerned, the more people on welfare and who are dependent on the government the more votes they get. Welfare - should be called POORFARE. Because it keeps people poor and dependent yet built in voters. Conservatives approach to true well being or "WELFARE" is to enable folks to grow to their potential.
Slavery was not an American institution, it was a global institution and our country sacrificed a generation of our men to rid us of that global institution within our borders. If by Genocide you mean 600,000 of mostly white young men then you understand the sacrifice it took to rid our nation of that horrible institution of slavery.
