(And that includes the global warming gaffe, with Pelosi.) Men can be stupid and selfish (but so can women) and many of them do take longer to mature... I'M READY to believe HE COULD BEAT OBAMA, that he will do MUCH TO RESTORE America! Process of elimination, folks. IMAGE & YOUTH (how useful have those proven?), PERFECT alignment on ALL issues (i.e., "social" ones made ABSOLUTE/"deal breakers") - life is full of tradeoffs! WEIGH all the factors...and Newt IS worthy of a RALLY 'ROUND for the fight of our lives.

There was a study done that showed when people are in a focus group, most won't say what's obvious or what most are thinking. However, if JUST ONE person steps out and says what is on most minds, the others lose their fear, come out of their self-protective shells, and speak up too. I've admired Newt for a long time; he IS brilliant and self-poised. But I'll confess, this go-round I've begun by looking at other candidates first (thinking wistfully, everybody else will be still "holding a grudge" against him for things in the past; hopes for him are therefore futile). One by one I've had no choice - in my assessments - but to "let go" of those other candidates. IT'S BEEN DELIGHTFUL to witness Newt do sooo well at the debates, show...

I saw In Time. I found it not "fully formed," with apparent influences from not only Robin Hood, but Bonnie & Clyde and Les Miz. Interesting tho, useful perhaps to trigger further discussions (we are at least in a period where debates are flourishing, that's good) about human nature, politics...and what I noticed particularly - MORTALITY... As "science fiction" it has potential for much more... as political polemic, yeah, ENOUGH already!
