I hope you mean that you "helped" put 4 kids thru college. Please tell me that they contributed to THEIR further education by taking on part of the student loans and holding a job while attending college.

Dark Matter, you used a four letter word for some of these students-WORK! Some have never held a job nor have the motivation to work. They believe that somehow that college education should be handed to them (like in Europe). Mom & Dad have taken care of all their needs to this point. Now they want the taxpayers to help them pay for an education that they chose and will benefit them in increased wages in their future.

I would guess that his stock portfolio is fine. It is only TAXPAYER money that he is careless with.

So if the woman that was raped does not want to have the baby, what would you do anonymous? Would you throw her in prison for nine months? Should she be punished for an additional nine months for the violent act that occurred to her body? The child would have the stain of half his/her genes being from a rapist. If the woman doesn't want to have the baby she should not have to regardless of what someone else thinks of abortion.

Stacie Crimm at age 41 discovered she was pregnant. She wasn't married and at age 41 should have know how to prevent a pregnancy. She refused treatment when she found out that she had cancer with the noble hope that her baby would live. I believe that this is a "choice". Her choice almost ended up killing both of them. She didn't live long enough to see or raise her baby. It is tragic that she died and tragic that she had a two pound baby that may very well have health issues for the rest of her life. Hopefully she did have insurance and we weren't forced into paying for her "choice". Now "Bubba" is responsible for another child when he already has three of his own. A sad story, all the way around, but is she a hero? I think not!

T, I was in Times Square and saw the "occupy" crowd on Saturday evening. There were almost as many signs against Obama as there were against the Republicans and the "one percent" I saw all types of people, not just a bunch of clueless kids. They aren't very organized and have not come up with any common theme or thread yet. TH posters thinking that Obama is exploiting the movement is kind of funny, since most of the crowd is against democrats and republicans equally and are mostly fedup that our government is not for the people or by the people.
