People have been watching to many movies. 110 LBS girl cannot throw 200LBS man around or knock him out with one punch. That is the movies not reality. If women had to pass the same standard as men there would not be very many women at all in the service. Martha McSally, double standard, iron man triathlon LOL. Competing in shorts and tennis shoes. Iron man triathlon is not the same as full pack and gear force march. Hand to hand combat getting in the face of the enemy. There is a reason armies are made up of men. Brute force is what it takes to win a war.

Last week as a last hoorah, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta lifted the ban on women serving combat even though women have been serving in combat for quite some time. Now, a new Rasmussen Report shows 59 percent of voters favor women serving in full combat positions.

Most voters think women in the military should be able to fight in combat just like men do. But they still believe overwhelmingly that women need to pass the same physical tests as men if they’re in special forces like the Green Berets and Navy SEALs.
