War on women casualties: KIA: 26,000,000. Women killed by Progressives like Planned Parenthood and you neighborhood abortion mills. That's 26 million females killed since 1974, in the name of women's liberation. Total Killed In Action: 52 million. But that includes males, and they deserved it.
I wondered when 'Diversity' would go the way of 'Global Warming'. After all, when the overwhelming preponderance of evidence revealed the fraudulent nature of Global Warming 'science', the lefties had to find another label to place on their latest holier-than-thou crusade, and that label was "Climate Change". Now 'Diversity' has been replaced with 'Academic Justice'. That is just so heartwarming. Since the true tyrannical nature of Progressivism's need to oppress diverse thinkers has been so blatantly and frequently revealed, the left needed another sanctimonious euphemism to attach to their Holy Crusade of Tyranny. 'Academic Justice' has just the right patina of righteousness to cover up the fascist nature of the movement. The problem is, I haven’t seen anyone come up with a definition of Academic Justice yet. I imagine it will be the same kind of sophistry as ‘Social Justice’, which is the euphemistic title for taking from those who work and giving to those who do not work (under the ‘Social Justice’ subheading ‘Income Equality’). I assume Academic Justice will mean that there will be no grades rewarded for demonstration of mastery of a subject? No A’s, B’s; and certainly no D’s and F’s for failure to demonstrate mastery. All students, K-12, college, or med school will get the same “C” grade, no matter the student’s effort or test results. As a matter of fact, all grad schools, Med Schools, Law Schools, and Engineering Schools will have to admit anyone who applies, regardless of such petty bourgeois considerations as ‘grades’. Just think, under the new ‘Academic Justice’ rubric, anyone who wants to be a heart surgeon, or quantum physics professor, will simply need to state their desire to be so, and they will be declared so. Don’t you just love Progressive Fantasyland? And congrats, Mr. Goldberg, on offending Barbara Streisand. That's better than getting a Nobel Peace Prize.
Come on. These are the folks who voted Al Franken in as their senator. These 3 clowns, Franken, and the rest of the political comedians are ROFL at all of us.
When the pols or their families need health care, believe me, they will get quality health care. We are on our way to the Cuban system. There, party leaders receive excellent care and treatment from the best doctors with the best equipment, procedures, medicine and technology. The 99% who aren't party leaders? Well, they get to wait in line at filthy clinics to see wannabe doctors. That's the change that the low info masses' "Hope" bought for us.
Actually, Lively and Barber were a bit less than accurate in what they have said about gays. Gays don't just sodomize teenagers, the sodomize young boys, and teach that their disease producing deviance is something to celebrate. Those who kowtow to this carnal sickness of the 'Humanist' world are the ones who should be ashamed.

Downton Abbey's Pro-Life Message

I gave up on this series after last season, with its "disaster / tragedy of the week" formula. It is a shame that the writers seem to be such sadists - because the characters are compelling and real, and some are very sympathetic. But the constant victory of evil over good in just about every episode gets tiring. So it is refreshing that they take this stand, which is extremely unpopular in the media world.

Downton Abbey's Pro-Life Message

Back when I was in high school (middle of last century), the 'hard lesson' of the times was driving safety. (I was in high school when it was still a shock to hear of someone getting caught smoking). The favorite tactic of the administration in the effort to impress the students with the seriousness of the topic was the annual showing of a shock film to the students, one that showed the grizzly results of serious accidents. It was very effective. I only wish that schools would do a slide show presentation of the site you connect to. But, sadly, our schools today are not concerned with the mental or emotional health of their female students, or the hundreds of thousands of innocent lives being snuffed out annually for pleasure and convenience's sake; their concern is for the profits of Planned Parenthood and the other child sacrificers. So, instead of showing the sickening, devastating results of our uncontrolled lasciviousness, they promote that lasciviousness in 'sex ed' classes.
"Whites R Us"? Why is it that the Repubs have more women, blacks, and Hispanics in state and national positions of leadership than the Dems?
Doubling my health insurance premiums is compassion? Taking away thousands of dollars of coverage is compassion? Lying about being able to keep the policy I had is compassion? Lying about being able to see my doctors is compassion? The major difference between conservatives (not necessarily Republicans) and Progressives is that conservatives are grounded in reality. We don't swallow the fantasies of the Humanists who will spout any lie necessary to show how "compassionate" they are. You know, how killing a million babies a year in this country is 'compassionate'. How teaching a disease-spreading, deviant behavior is 'compassionate'. How paying young women to become single mothers and condemning their children to a life of misery is 'compassionate'.

The Heroism of Wendy Davis

'Poetic License' has morphed, in the ever-evolving consciousness of the Progressive mind, into 'Re-imagining'. As in the left's 'Re-imagining of Jesus' by the Jesus Seminar. The left's love affair with amorphous euphemisms has been as long lasting as their love affair with tyranny and oppression of non-believers. The 'Re-Imagining of Jesus' really translated to 'the denial and ridicule of Jesus and everything He stands for' by shallow, vapid play-pretend 'scholars' who despised Him. But the first truly public display of leftist revisionism was the heroine feminist 'scholar' Rigoberto Menchu's autobiography, "I, Rigoberto Menchu" released in 1982, and which contained a bizarrely fictionalized and fantasized version of her life, transforming the life of a rather dull, frumpy native Guatemalan girl into that of a fiery revolutionary who witnessed the martyrdom of her father and brother to evil government forces. Reality, of course, was completely opposed to what she wrote, as none of the dramatic events she related in her autobiography actually happened, but I remember the hysterical defenses of this woman by the leftists - academia, feminists, and just plain whack jobs. They cried out that the narrative she was presenting, that of an oppressed and tyrannized woman, in an oppressed and tyrannized family, in an oppressed and tyrannized native people, may not have actually happened, but it had to be true in some way, some where, so the fantasies that she wrote were really reality. The Alice in Wonderland aspect of the left's "Whatever We Believe is True" ideology must be the result of ingesting too much mescaline, LSD, and whatever other hallucinogens were in vogue in the individual's formative years. But the truly frightening aspect of their fantasies is that they are now effectively presenting these fantasies as reality in the media, in academia, in politics. And the Brain Dead Zombies who make up the majority of our voting population glom on to these deranged fantasies as their latest cause d'etre. Dem Mass Senator Elizabeth Warren fantisized about being native American, and actually claimed native American ancestry to gain advantage in college admissions. Her claims were totally fraudulent, but to the twisted, demented leftist mind, reality and truth matter nothing. It's the thought that counts.
Now that Texans are getting to know the Urine Bag Lady, they are turning away in droves. The more they know her, the more disgusted they get. Texas is not Pelosi-Land. You might be able to convince San Franciscans that 500 million Americans will lose their jobs every month if the stimulus isn't passed (as Pelosi did in 2009), but that sort of Progressive Fantasyland stuff won't work on the majority of Texans. Thank God.
