Have you noticed the introduction of female commentators at televised football games, both pro and college? There are only two reasons I can think of for this, 1) the Justice Dept. ordered the teams to involve women, and, 2) the teams want to appeal to a female audience. What are the odds that it is #1? Call me sexist, but as a man who has played more football and watched more football than all those women combine, I refuse to listen to someone who is the object of affirmative action gone wild, and I predict that the outcome will be the same as other organizations that have introduced women: eventually, football, heretofore a brotherhood of MEN, will no longer be recognizable.

Few things can make you appreciate home like staying in a hotel. This includes not only low-budget, bare bones hotels but also sweepingly large and ornate luxury hotels. What many hotels seem to have in common are needless hassles.

Since most people who stay in hotels do so while traveling, and stay only a few days in a given hotel, you might think that those who run hotels would want to make it easy for someone who arrives a little tired (or a lot tired) from traveling to use the various devices they find in their hotel room.
