The smoke and mirrors in this case is the Dems who will allow the Bush tax cuts to expire, hitting the lowest tax bracket the most, then blaming the Republicans for raising the working stiff's taxes.

The Dems will be whining, we wanted to raise taxes on the rich (as if $200k is millionaire/billionare rich - duh!) and the Repubs would let us so that's why the lower and middle class got hit with tax increases, but Plan B allowed the Dems to put their money where their mouth is by giving an increase to a million and up, though Reid said no, and they will still blame the Repubs. These Dems are real scum - very detrimental to America.

With the end of the day coming on Capitol Hill, there is still no new plan of action for dealing with the looming fiscal cliff. Senate leaders worked off stage today, but there will be no new proposals or votes until Sunday.

Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid adjourned work until tomorrow in order to allow time for Democratic and Republican leaders to negotiate a deal to present to the House tomorrow.
