No. First, George Bush proved that big government socialism doesn't work no matter who tries it. Second, to more completely answer your false premise question, even though is its a veiled attempt to excuse away Obama's disastrous policies. Government keeps good economies down. People want to shop, businesses want to grow,and people want to innovate. The economy will always grow in a free market if the conditions are kept free. Poor economic conditions can only be sustained if government interference keeps it that way. Like Roosevelt prolonged the Depression in the 1930's Obama is doing the same today.

With the president mobilizing for a barnstorming tour in support of massive tax hikes and to, in effect, overturn last week's vote to keep the House in GOP hands and the gavel in John Boehner's --details here on the president's plan-- the GOP is getting organized in the House and laying down markers.
