Liberal Lies of Inequality, Redistribution, and Class Warfare

Freedom is not a twisted priority. Businesses should be allowed to set their own wages and people will choose if they want to work for those wages or not. Lower taxes and regulations and get rid of the minimum wage and you will see such an economic explosion in this country that there will be more jobs than workers and wages will rise with productivity. Or we can continue to do it your way with crushing taxes, millions of pages of regulations and welfare enslavement and then puzzle over why things aren’t getting better. Denying freedom and robbing people of the prosperity of free enterprise is the worst form of cruelty disguised as condescending kindness.

I’ve spent a lot of time debunking class-warfare tax policy, and I’ve certainly explained ’til I’m blue in the face that big government facilitates a pernicious form of corruption that enriches powerful and well-connected insiders.

But I haven’t spent much time addressing the topic of income inequality, which is connected to those two other issues.

U.S. News & World Report just weighed in on this issue, citing a leftist video designed to build support for redistributionist policies.

Occupy is by now forgotten (if not gone), but the top 1 percent came roaring back into view...
