No, she wasn't right. The answer to the question of what does it matter goes directly to the heart of the beliefs and expectations which form the basis of motivation to act or not to act. Clinton's (and Obama's and apparently your own) world-view says that the reasons for the attack are of no consequence. This is only true if the nature of those reasons, known or reasonably anticipated in advanced, would not have changed anything thing that the administration did or could have done. To know the answer is to know Clinton's beliefs, to understand her worldview, and to assess her vision for America and therefore her suitability for the presidency.

After four months of playing hide and seek with the American people, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton honored the Congress with her presence long enough to duck and deceive the American people regarding the worst incident of terrorism against Americans since 9/11.
