Deal with the illegal immigration problem as it exists and not as you wish it was. Accept the fact that the "fence" will never exist, and deporting ~20mil illegals will never happen.
What does need to happen is that order and control must be imposed on the illegal population that now exists in America. Document 'em; make 'em pay taxes; limit their burden on resources; and send 'em packing when they can't support themselves.
