change "does not" to "should not" and I agree, but you can find hundred of instances a year where the actual "law" doesn't apply...it's all politics can have the people thinking that most cops are just criminals with badges....so they get in no trouble and the person who defended his/her home ends up dead or in jail...
While this should be true.....if you do a quick and easy search online, you many instances, in which law enforce enter (and often kill) the wrong house and innocent people....happens all the time....defend yourself against unannounced armed intruders and you will be shot, arrested or both...doesn't matter what the law is, but then again anyone who has regular contact with law enforcement (without a camera or witness) know that the law never actually matter if the person enforcing "law" never took the time to actually learn what those laws are. This doesn't apply to every law enforcement official, just about 85% of everyone of them I have ever met....
