TRUTH, but police being minutes away is a dream that only happen in the best of circumstances...when my house was robbed, it took the police 23 minutes to get there, but i could've walked to police station in 5...never understand day, where they told me to stay hidden in my yard (i never mentioned having a gun...none of their business) while they finished their donuts and then came to my now emptied house...if I had just pulled my weapon and used in ways not allowed in the state I was in, I wouldn't have lost anything and that guy would never have robbed anyone again.....
agreed, but they should be required to take and extra extensive gun safety class, with that many children around you have to be extra careful, but on that note....I think gun saftey should be a high school class just like Drivers Ed...more people are killed by idiot with cars in the country than idiot with guns
keep getting your information from movies and TV....that is know to work out 100% percent of then time....
Yeah, cause every 12 year old girl can fire a shotgun....especially from a small confined space, that's what they are designed for right? I mean why use a pistol, or even bother to teach you children gun safety YOU DON"T CHAMBER A ROUND UNTIL YOU ARE PREPARED TO FIRE. Just give your kid a shotgun, that'll fix everything.....well when your child chambers a round trying to scare someone, then accidentally shoots himself or an innocent (because you have him/her using a SHOTGUN in a CLOSET) then the parent ....YOU...will be at fault.
my guess would be http://www.coloradoceasefire.org/munilaws.htm he actually did some research before opening his mouth....maybe you should try it....you wouldn't look so ignorant...now scroll on down to Aurora 1. "Dangerous weapon" includes firearm 2. Revocation of license for furnishing a firearm to a minor or someone under the influence. 3. Window displays cannot include firearms with barrels less than 12 inches long. 4. Unlawful to carry concealed "dangerous weapon" 5. Unlawful to discharge firearms, unless by law enforcement on duty or on shooting range. 6. Unlawful to possess firearm while under the influence of intoxicant 7. Right now, more "trolls" have the guns, because law abiding people can't carry them....so what do you prefer, only criminals and trolls have guns or everyone....I'm not for "mandating" but allowing every to actually carry is a whole other story, try to open carry, see how many times you get harassed...
Remember the Old west,m (the real old west) where every carried a gun, and people opened doors for each other and said Sir and Mam, you know showed respect fro one another? I think that had a lot to do with people right to defend themselves...
change "does not" to "should not" and I agree, but you can find hundred of instances a year where the actual "law" doesn't apply...it's all politics can have the people thinking that most cops are just criminals with badges....so they get in no trouble and the person who defended his/her home ends up dead or in jail...
