Why the Obama Bubble Still Hasn’t Burst

Much of Obama's support comes form people who expect the federal government (that would be you and me) to pay for their food, housing, medical care, and now, cell phones. These same supporters think it is just fine to deface Romney campaign signs and key cars with Romney bumper stickers. I have yet to hear of Romney supporters defacing the property of Obama supporters. Now why is that, so you suppose? (because conservatives allow others to have different opinions without lashing out)

Isn't that simply an iteration of the '47%' comment? And it's true as well. It may not be Liberal pc to admit it, but the facts are there for any sane person to see. Obama policies hurt the minorities and poor, but they promote Government handouts---and these people continue to support Obama despite his wrongs and damages.

It is Obama's most loyal constituiency that has filled up the prisons! Me, I have a Sixgun and a carry permit!

Can there be political bubbles like financial bubbles?

Financial bubbles, inflated by hopes and dreams, burst when reality negates any possibility that those hopes and dreams will be realized. At that point, sky high stock or bond or real estate prices come crashing down to earth.

Can the same thing happen in politics? Can a skilled politician, who has become popular with soaring rhetoric and promises, deflate when it starts becoming clear that he is not going to deliver?

Of course, I am thinking about our president.

Mitt Romney demonstrated in the first presidential debate that the considerable gap...
