The democrats and their minions will STILL blame the republicans for any failure. The excuses will be endless- The program wasn't funded properly, they didn't really care, you name it, we will STILL get the blame.

Possibly, but Context is right - ANY compromise we agree to will make the inevitable failure the fault of republicans - particularly conservatives. The problem is, with the media so enamored of the liberal politicians we don't stand much of a chance of showing the general public how wrong they are even then. I think they call this no-win :(
