Maybe if all geopolitical subdivions would just enforce the laws currently on the books, some of the guns in the hands of criminals would be taken off the streets. That might not stop another Newtown, but it is not the law abiding gun owner that is the problem.

And THEN they'd be using knives,baseball bats,hammers,or explosives to do the SAME THING. Why not REMOVE all the gun control laws currently NOT being enforced,and let Americans take care of their OWN safety. It COULDN'T hurt-the laws have not been,and are not being enforced now,so why have them? Nobody would be any MORE endangered,and the Lawful Gun Owners could then take care of their own protection.
