The legal process AFAIK, is that the States Attorney will investigate and if sufficient evidence of crime exists, present a bill of indictment to the county grand jury. The jury will hear the state's evidence, and determine if probable cause exists that 1 a crime was committed, 2 the crime occurred in the jurisdiction of the court, and 3 the person or persons named did commit the crime. If probable cause exists, the grand jury will vote a true bill, if not they vote a no bill. If it is a true bill, it will be submitted to the court and then an arrest warrant issued.

Nothing we can do can bring Trayvon back. It's clear from all versions of this event that Trayvon did not deserve to die. It is not clear whether his death is a result of murder, manslaughter or what the law calls "justifiable homicide" -- a legal term for an intentional death that is not a criminal act.

The other thing we can know for sure is that this case has exploded in the media in...
