Care to explain why that is a strawman? Why is it off limits to even suggest that the military budget be trimmed, even after the ending of a war? How much of the budget would you say directly contributes to our defence? You don't like our money going to someone on welfare here in the states, so why should we defray the military expenses of welfare states in other countries?
