Actually buster the initial "Mission Accomplished" phase of the war was a huge success. It was the attempt to nation build that was the failure. Soldiers are not police, they kill the enemy and break stuff, trying to make them police was a huge mistake. We should have left after we got Saddam with a warning to get their stuff together or we'll be back to take care of the next regime.
