Eddie, first you fail at reading. Second how else would you describe someone who brought a child into this world and then subjected them to torment and torture? I'm not talking about people who reject the teachings of Jesus but rather those that never even hear His name nor hear the Gospel. I believe we are God's children and that entails many things that I don't have the time nor the space to get into here. I'll leave you a short question though, what are children supposed to do?

Matt, if Jesus is merciful and loving how then can He condemn to eternal separation (Hell) those peoples who never had the benefit of hearing the Gospel? What about small children who never really got old enough to accept Christ? They are born with Original Sin...so are their souls forever condemned? If so how is God and Jesus merciful and loving? That seems pretty callous and unloving to condemn souls that did not even have a chance to know Jesus to eternal seperation from God, its contradictory to the message of Jesus.

Interestingly enough, most "Northern" whites were more racist than their "Southern" brethern until the War of Sucession (commonly though incorrectly refferred to as the Civil War) and the Reconstruction. Familiarity is one of the things that helps eliminate racism and prejudice, unless of course one's experiences are mostly negative. Southern whites interacted with blacks more frequently than Northerners. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson regularly taught literacy to black people at Sunday School, at one point in direct defiance of the law. Robert E. Lee did not believe in slavery. Lincoln did not want free blacks intermingling with whites, he wanted to send them all back to Africa, and men like Fredrick Douglas were a mere novelty to many nothern whites. It was the destruction (war crimes by today's standards) of the South and Reconstruction, along with the way blacks were used by the Union that created the racial hatred that lead to Jim Crow. One example depicted in movies was the "Contraband" in the movie Glory. Most southern whites did not own slaves by the way.

Fame/notoriety. In today's society fame or celebrity is often associated with wealth and power. In the case of B.O. he has all three.
That all depends on what your definition of "is" is.

Sandy, that is because secretly progressives DO believe blacks are inferior race. They have found that destroying black familes, keeping them uneducated, and on the dole makes them easy to control. This helps keep the progressives in power. Look at the statistics before and after Johnson's Great Society. Blacks are born to unwed mothers 75% of the time.

Hmmm, last time I checked in states that do not allow ssm it was equally illegal for two heterosexual people of the same sex to marry as it was for homosexual people of the same sex to marry. Homosexual people of the opposite sex are allowed to marry just as heterosexual people of the opposite sex are allowed to marry. Seems like the law is pretty equally applied to me.
You don't choose skin color at birth. Show me the homosexual "gene" and we'll talk about it then. Otherwise its a sexual mental disorder just like zoophilia, pedophilia, and necrophilia.
