A Losing Immigration Strategy

How about tomorrow the Attorney General send out a letter to all employers in the US and say in 30 days any person employing and Illegal alien will be arrested and prosecuted. The next sound you hear will be the 15 million Illegal aliens being fired and 15 million Americans being hired. Don't think it will work? Chuck Schumer said also the same thing on TV the other day. Only his plan is make the Illegal aliens 'legal' first and then go after the employers. Two plans but which one is right? As the knight said to Indiana Jones "Chose Wisely'. I know I know I am racist because I think Americans should not go to the back of the bus. Or you can just surrender like this fellow wants you to do.
Everyone in Washington is showing new interest in immigration reform. President Barack Obama needs to do something to cement the loyalty of Hispanics, who did so much to re-elect him. Republicans seem to grasp that they had better soften their hard line unless they want to forfeit any hope with Latinos and Asian-Americans.

Both sides also agree that a balanced, two-part approach is in order: stricter enforcement and improved border security on one hand and a pathway to legalization on the other. It's an excellent plan -- except for that first part.

To say we need more enforcement to seal the border is...
