You keep using those words...I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
Riiight, that's why in the last few presidential elections, Obama won both the college educated and the women. Never let the facts get in the way of your predjudices.
Nothing tells women they are too stupid to think for themselves than that they only support certain policies because they are getting bribed.
The first time? Really? Keep reading TH, it won't take long to see others, lots of others. This site would shut down if all cherry picking was eradicated.
"The simple fact that Democrat Senators pay their female aides (on average) $5,500 less per year than their male counter parts – or that the White House pays its female employees 88 cents on the dollar compared to male staffers – should be enough proof that the initiative is pure politics" No, its just proof you are a partisan hack disinterested in actual analysis of the pros and cons of the proposed policy. The notion that one's position on public policy should match, in all ways, one's personal behavior is idiotic in the extreme. It's like saying a fooball coach should play by any rule change he favors before it gets changed. It also ignores the things the coercive programs can accomplish that voluntary ones cannot (think the draft). Further, since the problem they are trying to address is systemic, and the senate and executive branch are part of our system, then no shiite sherlock, they have the same problems. I mean really, what exactly is Schaus' point here? That if the executive branch and senate have not solved a problem themselves, they have no business making sensible policy for the nation? Well, if you like gridlock, by all means proceed. And if you like losing the women's vote by double digits, keep telling them that they are only supporting sensible policy because they are getting bribed.
"It wasn't that long ago when support of traditional marriage was the majority position in this country. I imagine that it still is in reality..." Your imagination is a poor source of information. But it is why people increasingly laugh at you. Get used to it, because your minority gets smaller every day.
As stated here: "When those [Barber] opposes use boycotts to pressure companies, that’s 'homofascism.' When the Christian right does it, it’s Godly people exercising their unalienable right to speak their mind. "

Nothing screams "clueless idiot" like teleprompter jokes. Obama has demonstrated on many occasion his ability to speak intelligently sans teleprompter, including at least one famous schooling of GOP house members. But you have to get out of your conservative fantasy bubble to know any of this.

"Progressives are awful people willing to exploit anything and anyone to advance their agenda." LOL Do you honestly expect anyone outside your little fantasy bubble to read past that? You might as well have accused Progressives of being the Borg for all the relevance to the real world this entails. Tell the Tooth Fairy hello for me.
You conveniently skipped over the part that they have to live as the gender in question throughout their day. No one is suggesting allowing on-the-fly bathroom choices. We've learned a lot about the world since you were in school, do try to keep up.
