What gets me is all the people debating this "issue", or more exactly all the people that buy into the left's arguments. I just looked at my 2011 tax returns. I make almost exactly the average income for Americans, and squirrel away 6% in my 401K. I am single with no dependents. My effective tax rate works out to 8.67%. What is yours?
