Happy New Year?

Marco Rubio was born in Miami, Florida, which, the last time I looked, is part of the United States. It's one of the 50 (unless you're Obozo, in which case it would be one of the 57)! No way is Rubio ineligible to be president.

The Constitutional requirements are that a person be a "natural born" citizen. His parents were not born in America, therefore, Rubio is not "natural born". Neither is Bobby Jindal.

Agee...we need to promote people like Rubio with the same family history...Ask them if they want to go back to Cuba but it seems like they want to bring it back.
The beginning of a new year is often a time to look forward and look back. The way the future looks, I prefer to look back -- and depend on my advanced age to spare me from having to deal with too much of the future.

If there are any awards to be given to anyone for what they did in 2012, one of those rewards should be for prophecy, if only because prophecies that turn out to be right are so rare.

With that in mind, my choice for the prediction of the year award goes to Bret Stephens of the Wall...
