Dear Derek, You article is superb. However, you do realize don't you, that it falls on the 'deaf ears' of those who truly need to hear it! You are presenting an analogy to those who can't comprehend the 'real' subject to which your analogy applies, because they have chosen to view life from a different angle than ANYONE who accepts reality as their lens. They don't even speak our language! They insist on using a different 'Dictionary' than the rest of us do! They have have already nixed the words from their dictionary which would allow them to even be able to read your article let alone comprehend it! Your article is a lot like trying to force feed steak to a blue whale who only has the ability to swallow microscopic krill!

I just need to tweak something that someone would validly point out as being illogical, unless I clarify my statement. What I should have said is: what is genuinely Biblical is not in dispute among true Christians who DO NOT impose any ExtraBiblical sanctions on things, which are clearly spelled out in black and white (and sometimes red), ie. the source of the subsequently mentioned 'deception', which even affects some "true Christians". There, if that doesn't satisfy you then nothing will.

Where 'exactly' is MY logic faulty? The basics of what is Biblical is not in dispute between true Christians. What is truly "Biblical", is "Biblical" regardless of the mistaken beliefs of "mear men". Dont take me wrong or out of context - there are some true Christians (deceived but true) in the Roman Catholic Church but the RCC at best is no better than the worst of cults. The Bible plainly states that we should "call no man Father" but they do and that is just the tip of their UnBiblical iceberg! The 'world' in their ignorance lumps us all together, and thinks that we all live under the same rock. That is my problem with this article.

Personally, I get a bit queasy, when articles written by folks like this put "OUR" dirty laundry on display to a mostly unbelieving, and very unforgiving world. AND, "I" for one don't appreciate one bit being included in the corporate "WE" when "I" don't subscribe to the negatives listed here. "I" think that those with the warped sense of 'what God thinks', 'how Christians should comport themselves', or even 'who He is' remains the responsibility of the individual Christian in his/her circumstance. AND that is assuming that they are indeed genuine Christians! The vast majority of the negative things listed here, have been perpetrated by those that don't meet any BIBLICAL definition of a Christian regardless of what they may call themselves!
