MR.Thomas has done a good job of trying to bring some rationally to the discourse of the terrible devide between the two political parties.He is obviously biased,but seeks to deflect his own biases by useing qualifers such as the word "some",whereas many of his collegues on this paper would make no hesitation to employ the word "all".'I think he errors in saying that Both FDR and mr.McCarthy should be left behind when one engages in dialogue.I feel that these were both important historical figures and that all ideas should be brought to the table.I am sure,if he were to reflect,he would agree that we need all the help we can get.
