to the extent and degree that we ape a barbarian we become a barbarian, the important thing is not to loose our humanity as individuals or as a people. If we would follow the golden rule, never forget that we are all children of GOD,and seek to have a humble heart we will be in a positive position to face what comes our way.WHEN presideNT Bush held office CHRISTIANITY Today put out an issue with a contention that torture in never justified on it's cover.Anyone claiming to be a Christian needs to remember Jesus" words,'A NEW commandment i give unto you, that ye love.."

Kermit Gosnell and Abortion's Darkest Side

to oppose abortions because of some of the absuses that happen,is analogious,to my mind, with wanting to close the catholic church because of it's having some negative pedofilic priests. The right to reproductive freedom is one of the great advances of the human spirit.Sinful?it is sinful to violate another person"s boundaries.as long as a fetus is inside a mother it can be viewed as a parasidite and expunged.Forchuntly there are more women who chose to see their preganancy as a gift than see their condtition in a negative light.i am sorry that any aborton should be chosen but believe complety that a woman's coise is absolute.i do believe that, while,at oresent, people seem to be opting for "pro-Life",but this will change again.

this is not the time to speak of the president's greatness,or,to your mind,it's lack.

it would, indeed,be interesting to see what his views would be of today's issues.Since he supported one of his workers who was being flaged as being gay,and since his wife after his death fought for gay liberation we have to asume that he would at least be sympathic to the gay nupituals issue. He was ahead of his time on this issue.I do not have any idea where he would stand on the pro-life issue. As for weapons, well,he was first and formost for non-violence.Dr.Carson,as great as he is,and he has become a hero to me,seems to be blind to the civil rights struggle and Rev.King"s accomplishments.I think it's because he may have come out of the seventh day adventist movement and not the black Baptist community.Sharpton ,Jackson -more in common.

DAVID211,YES,THE THEOLOGIAN dIETRICH bonhoeffer thought that Christians ought to be quiet for a while and do acts of koving service for awhile, showing the fruits of the spirit. At present,in this country,CHRISTIANITY is most evident in right wing consertives who seem to be crossing other people's boundaries, being a force of negativity, and demanding the right to carry weapons. This is a turn off to many outside the church.Jesus prayed that the CHRISTIANS be sent into the world, even as He had been,to serve, not to be served, and to help bring reconcillation between heaven and earth.we are in a very tense situation.christians are called upon to both be very wise and gentle.
He seemes to value dialogue very highly. He said,at the breakfast, that people are not listening to each other, and he saw that he had made some very improper things, unintentionally, that had nade him the focus of attention in a way that would detract from the graduation he was originally to speak at.Few few-on either side of the asile-would have the greatnes of character(Rev.Kings's criteria of judgement)to do such a thing.I take my hat off to him, as i feel he is being an inspiration.
Dr.CARSON SEEmes to be a rare man of both sincerity and goodness of heart, who appears to be genuinely concerned that the nation listens to itself on both sides of the asile. My original response to him was one of almost total negation, and i have one public appearence after the other being Negative. But i watched the movie,GIFTED hands:THE BEN carson story and became convenced that he is a man of heroic stature-i hope he doesn't go into politics as i find many of his ideas disturbing and feel that he would prouably do more harm than good;THE left is not listening to him, being put off as i was,and the right is only listening to him selectively, for example, when he withdrew from this public apearence at HOPKINS it was no t,on his part, cowaderice
you may not have noticed a few things,1.MARRAGE IS A SOCIAL CONTACT CONCEIVED BY MAN.2.IT HAS CHANGED AND ALTERED IN DIFFERENT SOCIETIES-EVOLVED,IF YOU WILL.3.it is,like the sabath, made for man,not man for it.4.It is to be an expression of love and if you do not see that two men can love each other in anyother way than you prescribe it is because you are ignorant.Sex is not limited to procreeation even amongst hetrosexuals.
AT a time of moral crisis, atime in which A.Lincoln"s use of scripture regarding a house divided against itself is unforchuntly being ignored,a great man,and a national treasure has wisely deemed it prudent to withdraw from giving a public speach. He had made a tactful error,at his own acknowkedgement, and knew that it was the wiseist thing for him to draw attention away from himself. This can only add to his stature, and those people who claime to respect and apprecheate him, including the writter of this unforchunate article,do him a great disservice to think otherwise.
