This an example of why the Federal Government must be reduced in size. The Fed has no Constitutional authority to be involved in public schools, whether by standards, food, or safety. I don't care IF "Federal" money is involved (which is another example of unConstitutional activity). The Fed should have have taken the money anyway.

President Obama’s legacy may be that he successfully forced schoolchildren to eat less meat and more vegetables.

The school lunch regulations championed by his administration, and in particular First Lady Michelle Obama, take effect next month and they have schools and parents scrambling.
