Right Anne And the burden of proof is on them, to prove his eligibility, not us to prove he is ineligible. if he is, it should be child's play. Truth is like that. God bless

Good deal Re: they should read the law. And, i suppose, that means enforcing the law too if it is not complied with?? Of course, before we do that ,a court has to decide what laws apply. None of which has been done---has it? Well, the accepted way to handle all that is with evidence, objective evidence, admissible in court, in a court, with both sides represented by counsel, capable of appeal, etc.. Funny thing, none of that has been done either. And, the side that says the law has been satisfied just doesn't want to go there, much preferring to call people all kinds of pejoratives...like other elitists with something to hide. Take it to court and put it to bed regardless of where the evidence leads.
IndependentLib Does that mean you would be for a black president regardless of what he stands for or does, simply because he is black?
Selfmade I would suggest we were ALREADY in those groups, and that they existed long before the US was here. The battle is between the lawful and the lawless, the self governing and the tyrant. Always was ,and always will be. You do NOT win battles by embracing what the enemy embraces.
IndependentLib The two parties are NOT oriented black v white or any other race. They ARE defined by their respect for human rights, law and order, etc. So, there is no line crossed when a liberal black votes for a liberal white. There a number of conservative black that conservatives have voted for...Alan Keyes comes to mind. Did you vote for him? Its not race...its ideology and which one is about the good or ill of our nation. That's the real choice.
IndependentLib Re: Frankly, I don't know what the Tea Party actually believes, opposes or supports. You vehemently oppose someone and yet you say that. Do you find that odd? See what wmou said below: Many T Party people support people like Alan West, Alan Keyes, Clarence Thomas, etc and oppose white liberals with a vengeance. So, if you are FOR the constitution, law and order, responsibility, etc..it might be the place for you.

Independent Lib Interesting perspective. Could you elaborate on the "White Nationalist Tea Party" part? What is it they believe that you oppose?
Sorry Star I am going to suggest that racial presence in a political party, any racial presence, is the wrong criteria by which to measure that party. Political parties are nothing less than groups seeking power to implement their ideology, values, and vision, in a nation. To use Jefferson, we have two parties, one of honest, self governing citizens, the other of rogues who would plunder the former and dominate them as tyrants. Sides are being taken, and its not about race.
