Could it be that Obamacare was never designed to work? And once it is recognized as a failure, they can then push for National Health Care for all. Count on it...this is just the first installment of tax increases.

Your conclusion of circumstances, might just be correct, as it stands the Affordable Health Caare bill is in general a disaster on almost every level for everyone, except Congress who is exempt from same.

I agree that that is exactly what the plan is. AS jniewicki wrote above it will only continue until we stop it. We are already seeing cases of employees being laid off or their hours cut because small businesses won't be able to afford it. I think a mandate amendment to the Constitution is a great idea. We should all work toward passing it.

In the standoff over the fiscal cliff, all the discussion has been about the Bush tax cuts. There has been no discussion about the ObamaCare tax increases. That's a mistake.

Five of the tax increases Americans will face on January 1 are new taxes created under the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare). And they are not just for the very rich. Three of the five will hit people who are solidly middle class.

The new ObamaCare taxes will hit everything from dividends and capital gains to day care and services for special needs children. They will increase the tax bill for those...
