My oh my. Your prejudice against Catholics is showing. Both Old and New Testament readings are included in the Mass. We may not be able to quote chapter and verse, but we can quote the Scripture. We don't study Scripture in exactly the same way as Protestants do and we do study St. Thomas Aquinas and other "men," but never doubt our love for Holy Writ.

"Prejudice" means rendering judgement *before* the evidence is in, which obviously doesn't apply to someone judging Catholicism.

For the last two weeks Bill O'Reilly has committed multiple journalistic mis-steps.

As long as he is allowed to define the terms of the narrative of what happened they will not be corrected. His failure to do so is a massive public relations problem and a mis-step in itself.

He owes a significant demo of his viewership an apology. He owes them one quickly so that his previously demonstrable prejudice against people of faith does not cause unintended long term effects.
